I travel widely and work mostly
out of doors in all weathers, finding shelter where possible.
I try to follow the practice of the 19th Century French Impressionists
combining rapid painting with good underlying design.
Travelling has brought me into contact
with many fine outdoor amateur painters particularly in Venice
and Cuba. Recent trips have been to Poland and to Venice &
Chioggia. The "
" symbol by an image means the painting has been sold.
